Great tournament nice to see the top players. According to the video’s in the wolverines first game they defeated the Rollers 4 games to 0 but the results differ.
We were playing our “high level” pickleball at Margaret Greene Park, Guelph on Friday morning. A small group of “new” players showed up to play and as our custom they were welcomed. We were told they were from the East Toronto Smash pro team with their manager. As we played our games we kept an eye (or two) on these pros. They showed that there is indeed a small difference in our vs their abilities, agility, speed, power,….. It was a pleasure watching this level of our sport being played.
They were all very friendly and approachable, including their manager/ coach. It will be a great pleasure seeing these athletes perform against other high level players at the Sleeman Centre this weekend!
