Fans of the Canadian National Pickleball League in Alberta and the west will be happy to know that the league has announced venues for both the Western Split – Calgary Pickleball Center – and 2024 Playoffs – Edmonton Pickleball Center. The Western Split in Calgary is slated for August 17 & 18 and the Playoffs will go from Aug 31 to September 2 in Edmonton.

The Calgary Pickleball Center is a modern and inclusive premier 12-court facility open to participants of all ages and abilities. Located at 1145 65 Ave NE, Calgary, it features clinics and lessons for those looking to start and improve their games and memberships and tiered leagues for those who may want to be more competitive. It also has a lounge pro shop where all manner of equipment from paddles to balls, bags and accessories can be bought.

Just up the highway from Calgary, the Edmonton Pickleball Center at 11420 170 St. N.W. is also a superb facility with 19 courts (15 on PickleMaster Flooring and 4 on premium hardwood). It too hosts players of all ages and ability and offers clinics and private lessons. Much like Calgary, the club hosts a Center Ladder League, open play league, DUPR Round Robin play and club round robin play, as well as private bookings. It also has a lounge and pro shop for all Pickleball needs.
