What is the CNPL?

The Canadian National Pickleball League (CNPL) is Canada’s premier professional pickleball league, showcasing the nation’s top talent. Teams, selected and drafted by team owners, compete head-to-head for glory and prize money. Each match consists of four games: women’s doubles, open doubles, and two mixed doubles.

Our teams are spread across various cities in Canada, representing the country’s diverse regions.

When is the CNPL season?

The 2025 season will contain four total events: four regular season and one playoff. Regular season national events will be a two-day group play round robin event.

  • Central Split = May 17-18, 2025
  • Eastern Split = June 7-8, 2025
  • Western Split = August 9-10, 2025
  • Metropolitan Split = September 6-7, 2025
  • Playoffs = October 4-5, 2025

How are the teams formed?

Teams are selected through a combination of player drafts, tryouts, and scouting to ensure the best talent.
