The Canadian National Pickleball League (CNPL) is gearing up for its most explosive season yet, C4, and teams are already locking in key players ahead of the action.
The Detroit-Windsor Drive have officially announced the re-signing of Evan Hollinsky, a key contributor to the team’s success during the 2025 season. Known for his dynamic athleticism, ability to play both sides of the court, and his relentless energy, Hollinsky will be the central piece in the Drive’s rebuild for their second season in the CNPL.
“Evan brings intensity, chemistry, and heart every time he steps onto the court,” said the Drive’s coaching staff. “Having him back for another season was a top priority, he’s a difference-maker for us both on and off the court.”
Hollinsky’s return to the Drive lineup marks the third player under contract for C4 joining the Montreal Lions Ernesto Fajardo and Toronto United’s Matthew Kawamoto. Fajardo and Kawamoto were already under contract for the upcoming C4 season, both entering the second year of their respective two-year deals signed ahead of CNPL Season III.
With three standout Canadian players confirmed and rosters beginning to take shape, all eyes are turning toward the upcoming C4 season with higher stakes, bigger rivalries, and even more explosive pickleball action across the country.
